Thanks Allen.  I called every parts store I know today AND searched and 
called numerous websites and no luck.  Nobody could even find a
reference to 
the part number (2583856).  I would gladly take an aftermarket motor or
one 
that comes from another model car - if I knew which would fit my '66.

Imperial.  Can anyone please remind me what year/make/model the
replacement 
is from?  A minivan maybe?
