Rob,
I've never seen the clips for the 67, so can't say. I've taken a number of 
63's apart over the years & took all of the clips off when I had one of them 
repainted. That little peg in the middle spreads the clip & keeps it in 
place. I found that I was able to save most of them. There are also 
universal type metal clips that can be used on the places where you have 
access to the back side. Just be careful not to over-tighten those or you 
will dimple the moulding.

Are these clips similar to the ones holding the side trim on my '67?  I've
been pondering how to get the trim off without damaging it.

The side moulding clips have a rounded peg in the center. Tap that out from
the inside & the clip will come out. I suspect you will be able to save many

of them.
