I had the same problem on my 67 Crown when I bought it. The radiator
looked clean but was 90% plugged up when I took it the the radiator
shop to get it looked at. So, I replaced everything in there and now
it runs on the line above cold and doesn't get any hotter. MAybe you
have the same problem. Good luck.\
