i have a 94 imperial which i plan to enhance but at this point i need to do some field surgery. over a period of a few weeks i noticed the car was turning into a low rider. my mechanic and i looked at it and what seems to have happened is the metal corners that form the spring pocket for the coil springs, on both sides no less, had rusted and blown through. what we are looking at doing is to jack up the car and the springs seperately and weld steel plate to reform the pockets. any suggestions to alternative treatment would be appreciated. he has a MIG welder and some 10,000 psi material. john oleksik ----------------- http://www.imperialclub.com ----------------- This message was sent to you by the Imperial Mailing List.
