Roy is correct (thanks)... After thinking about them for a little while, they are in fact stainless and not aluminum. Either way, they appeared naked on the ‘68s and do indeed look perfectly correct (even from an aesthetic perspective) on the ‘67. (In fact, I think the stainless looks more elegant than the fake wood.)
