That means your car was built for export to the southern hemisphere, where
toilets swirl counterclockwise, etc.
Seriously, it means the wires are not connected properly. They are
reversed either at the motor or at the switch.
As previously noted on this list, late '80s and early '90s K-car and
minivan window motors are a direct exchange.
