Years ago a friend of mine who worked for Rolls Royce , told me that there
was a lot of wastage with Hides due to imperfections & size in general. It
was important that the hides were colored as a batch so that they were the
same shade too.As for the Headliner I would be careful of the weight for the
Bows & shrinkage due to drying out etc. So that might not be as straight
forward as it sounds.
