Re: IML: Mopar Seat Covers.............

You might find an upholstry man less expensive, but can he do the heat sealed seams as was original in most upholstery of that era? Chances are they will be sewn seams. I have a set of seats with the sewn seams and although it "looks" correct, it's definitely not.

Whoa! with those prices you can find an upholsterer way cheaper. Curt, don't know where you are in Washington, but I have a guy in Kennewick that does awesome work....just sent my DeSoto to him $600.00 for two benches... he is retired and does it to keep busy. If you are anywhere near Classy Chassis in Wenatchee this weekend, there is an H2 Hummer that he did that is supposed to be there if the guy is back from a Vegas show that he did. if I remember right, it is ostrich leather. Just a thought.

My latest Legendary catalogue shows for black and Metallic Lavender colors $270/pr; red $310/pr and Metallic Fawn and gold the most expensive at $325/pr. Also don't forget the seatback panels at $95, $110, and $115 respectively. Imperially related, just be glad you don't have to do a 57, 64 or 65 Imperial in leather - starts at $505 for the 64 (and it only has the leather inserts. The 57 is $900 (but that's for the split bench).
