If this compressor is a '61 style, can you use the mounting bracket from the newer car to fasten it to your '60? I think that all of the stuff that it fastens to on the car's engine would be the same between '60 and '61. I will go over to the garage and study the difference in the mounting if it will help you out. I seem to think that the compressor on my '62 is mounted to the engine exactly the same way as my '60. If they aren't, maybe the bracket from a '62 could be used. The compressors can sometimes be rebuilt, but it is possible that it is damaged beyond that point. They often break apart inside when they stop. I will take a look when I am over there tomorrow.
