IML: axle shaft end play

HELP!!
I rebuilt the rear end out of my parts car and installed it in The Black
Bitc_!!. Now I have almost 3/16" axle end play with no shims left. Same
ratio and the same axles as before when the end play was perfect. The
thrust block looked perfect in the replacement unit. Any ideas what I
may have overlooked?
