You have run into the achilles (sp? I'm not good at Greek!) heel of the 67/68/69 vintage Imperials. These discs are extraordinarily rare. If you come by a good used one (always check with a vernier calipers, a surface profilometer, and your eyeballs!) snap it up; if you find a NOS or new one for less than a week's wages, its a steal. Scour ebay; one might come up every few months or so. As far as I last knew, Frank Mitchell has the last remaining NOS ones, and he's asking I think $400 each for them. Your main alternative is to convert to rotors from an '87 Toyota Supra, which are readily available for about $20 each. The main modification necessary to make the Supra rotors work is to have the hub (what the studs attach to) face machined down approximately 1". The details of the conversion I wrote up after performing it to my (now deceased) 67 Crown about 3 years ago. They should still be available on the IML website. --- Giglz <giglz_nyc72@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Can anyone help direct me as to where I can buy the > brake disc for my car?
