Actually, if I remember right, the speedo drive gear that goes into the rear
of the transmission fits in a removable eccentric housing.  The amount of
"adjustment" (by rotating) of the housing is determined by size (tooth
count) of the drive gear you install, and is not used as a fine tuning
adjustment.  The size gear you use is determined by your final drive (axle
gear) ratio.
If you know your rear axle ratio and the size of your rear tires, your Mopar
parts person can help you pick the correct gear.
