The guy must be a solid citizen as Dick's acceptance of him moves him up in my book. He has advertised it lately on Craigslist and elsewhere. I tried to go look at it but was coarsely rebuffed. He came across the email as somewhat cantankerous and almost jealously protective of his car (well then why are you listing it for sale, buddy?). Certainly not a person in a selling mindset at that time as far as I could tell, but perhaps things have changed. I don't conduct multiple thousand dollar negotiations on cars that are buried in storage units that can't/won't be shown, hope diamond or not. Perhaps the relative anonymity of ebay will allow him to sell successfully without the human contact that prior methods invited. I predict that bidding will stall below his reserve. He seems to have a very high opinion of its value, as do we all about a car or object that is dear to us. This item may have a few more rounds before the seller puts it back in storage or lowers his price to market level. I look forward to seeing it come out of the garage and hopefully into the club at some point in the future. -K Kenyon Wills ----------------- http://www.imperialclub.com ----------------- This message was sent to you by the Imperial Mailing List.
