Re: IML: main bearings, oil pressure gauge

I am taking it on a road trip tonight and will see what pressures I have when it is right up to operating temp. Also pulled my ignition switch apart yesterday as it went dead on me. It did this to me a few times in the past and I looked everywhere but the switch. This time I pulled the switch right away. Easier than I thought. Attached to the bottom of the column just under the dash.It is a Delco unit!! Have to rotate it 90 degrees to unhook the actuating arm coming from the tumbler and barrel.Three tabs bent back and catch the springs, balls, copper bars,etc.. Cleaned it all up(was really dirty) and reassembled it. Works fine. Wish everything was that easy.

Good job Robin. What is your oil pressure?

What I did with my 440s is I installed a "T" and the old sender is back in
there. Also, its easier to install and remove the connectors.
