RE: IML: '81 Imperial mystery part

The hydraulic support plate is basically the fuel injection parts which are 
in the plate which is fitted in the air cleaner assembly.  I would stongly 
question how they determined that the this part is needed.  I think it is 
often used as a generic catch all when the car won't start and they want to 
blame the efi.  What is means is the car doesn't run.  Did they go through 
all the tests in the service manual and determine the hydraulic support 
plate is bad?
