There is another way I found that works great for taillight lens. Use 2000
wet sandpaper and lightly sand the lens, then use a good clear coat spray to
lightly coat the taillight lens. The lens will look like brand new, and will
last for years.

Meguire's makes a plastic polish (I believe it is #9) that is fantastic! If
you can push hard and have a lot of stamina, you can restore a plastic
part's outer surface to brand new looking. Just follow the directions, and
eat your Wheaties that morning. Do NOT use any kind of a motorized tool,
you will burn the plastic (and please don't ask how I know that!)

Thanks. Good advise. I have cleaned them inside and out. Any suggestions
on how to polish them? Is there a particular method, tool, wax, coating,
etc. that is recommended? I've used lots of elbow grease, soap and water
but they are still very dull.
