As an owner of a 1956
C-73 I am interested in identifying as many other owners as possible.
Many of us wonder where, and how many of these cars exist. There are
many issues that interest primarily '56 (and to some extent '55)
owners. My intention is to provide a pool of information and advice
pertaining to these cars.
I have accumulated a list
of 121 cars/owners. The list would be made available through the IML to
anyone who cares to have it. While the initial work has been done, I
would like to have as many people as possible add to or comment about
the information so far gathered. The current list has been gleaned from
many sources and I'm now in the process of verifying names, etc.
If you own a '56 please
let me know. In order to keep the list current, I would like a way to
contact you, by email address, phone, or at least an address. I will,
in turn, share with you through the IML, the list generated, but
without any personal contact information.
It has been suggested
that each person on the list would be a candidate for a personal page
on the '56 yearly area. Pictures, especially for documentation, and the
owner's stories would interest many of us. Also information specific to
the maintenance of these cars could be better focused. We all wade
through a lot emails each day looking for that nugget that would be
helpful to us. Perhaps we could have a '56 page to post to! Perhaps
some particularly knowledgeable person would volunteer to be a
specialist for 354 drive train issues, another for body and suspension.
