Henry, if you have bought this car, I fear you are
in for a real treat trying to get the rear drums off. Once the wheel sinks
below ground level, Mother nature seems to weld the brake drum to the shoes and
stuff. I had one that was not even that deep and had to literally cut the
drums off with a torch. EVERYTHING inside the drum was a solid chunk of
rust. EVERYTHING. The taper on the axle was so pitted once I drove
what remained of the hub off I was afraid to use it.
