Re: IML: '71 gas tank interchange

In checking around today, a helpful guy at a shop in California that advertises in Hemmings said his catalog shows that 67-71 tanks are the same dimensions but have different numbers of vents. (He also said his supplier just started making these tanks, so there must be some demand out there).
Does that  sound right about the dimensions and that it's only the number of  vents that are different? If so, anyone know the correct number of vents for '71?
