We agree.  Hence my statement,
"I am NOT saying that air adjustable shocks are a replacement for
conventional coil springs, that may very well over stress the shocks and
shock mounts due to the increased load."

I've not tried this as you have though, I only expected it to not work.

this is true but air shocks cannot do it solo ive tried
