Re: IML: Tranny fluid for a semi-automatic

Here are a few links that may help you with your 48. I have a 51 Plymouth so I've found some of these links to be helpful. Hope they are of value to you as well. Alex-63 Crownhttp://www.desoto.org/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=16&meid=-1

Apparently you are "right on" with the 10W motor oil in the Fluid Drive.  I've had several replies with the same answer!  I'm still looking for what is called a "Propeller Shaft Center  Bearing  according to my 1948 Desoto parts book.  I don't have a Chrysler parts book but I would imagine they are the same.  I have parts numbers according to the parts book but no way of knowing where to find them.

Thanks for your most appreciated reply!  :-)
