The 1946-48 Chrysler Shop Manual says to use 10W motor oil in the semi-automatic transmission. The Fluid Drive is actually the fluid coupling between the engine and the clutch and is not part of the transmission. In the 1946-48 manual, the Fluid Drive is convered in section IV with the clutch.
