RE: IML: brakes

Brandt:
If the pedal starts out high then slowly sinks to the floor one of two
things is wrong, 1) there is a leak in the system, in which case you
would loose brake fluid from the reservoir or 2) the master cylinder is
bypassing fluid around the cups in which case you would not loose any
fluid from the system.

If the pedal just goes to the floor right away I would suspect air in
the system or very badly misadjusted brakes.

Subject: IML: brakes

IML...I just had my brake booster and master cylinder rebuilt by Karps
and I had the system professionally flushed out. they also put new shoes
on the front. now when i stop the pedal goes almost to the floor when im
sitting at a stop light and if i let up just a little bit the car will
start to roll forward. does this sound right?
