Brandt,
Here is the answer to your interior question. If you go to this link,
http://automotivemileposts.com/imperial1963interiortrim.html
you'll find all the available interior colors and codes for the '63 model
year. Scroll down to the LeBaron series and note the code #s for the blue
cloth interior and compare it to the data plate that is on the firewall next
to the brake booster. On the bottom right of the data plate, you'll find the
letters " TRM ". If you have a blue LeBaron interior, the code will read
941 under the TRM stamping. If you have a black w/blue front seat, it sounds
like someone redid the seat and maybe wanted to mimick the practice of
upholstering limousines where the front compartment is done in black and the
rear compartment in a different suitable color to the body of the car. Were
the front seats stitched to the same upholstery pattern as the original? The
black loop carpet sounds like a replacement set as the original should be a
cut pile, I think. The door panels were carpeted in a matching material at
the bottom of the panels, if they are still there that would be very similar
to what should be in your car for floor carpeting.

How do I find out the original color scheme of my interior on a 1963 Le =
Baron?
From what ive torn out ive seen black loop carpet, creme colored snake =
bite headliner, some kinda of navy blue dashboard vinyl, same colored =
rear seat. and a black front seat. with the navy blue plastic trim =
peices around the sides of the seat. pretty confusing.
