Seems to me like the amplifier might be dying on that speaker...it's
not hard to pull those out of the doors, maybe take a quick look for
some parts that look a bit burnt..see if then you might also find a
replacement from a boneyard...
You might also have an amplifier that's toasting the voice coil on the
speaker...although that seems less likely.
