i found out how to replace steering gear in 1978 chrysler new yorker
first lossenscrews and bolts insde car floor and dash some you may have
to lossen  dis connect gear shift linage and remove pointer use pitman
arm puller to remove arm from gear remove starter lossen bolts on
steering gear watch its heavy ps make sure to mark pitmam arm and to
center the gear before putting everything back
