Hi Bruce,
You didn't say if the front brake lines had been replaced and if they
haven't there's a real good chance that's your problem. What happens is the
hoses get rotten and will collapse internally not allowing fluid back to the
master and keeping the front brakes applied. We've run into quite often
especially on older vehicles. Hope this helps.
