Ed/John,
I'll be doing some "restification" to my '67 LeBaron. Maybe it's just a '67
thing? I haven't said much since it seems to be taboo. John, what size
wheel/tire combo are you planning on? Ed, what are you running on yours?
I've given up on the Budd brakes, and I will be converting it over to the
'70's pieces once I find them. I'll keep all the original stuff boxed up in
storage should I decide to go back to stock or sell the car.

Ed, Great to hear of someone doing their car their way. I have recently acquired a 67 convertible to restify to my idea of a great cruiser. I will be modifying the engine for more power and fitting larger wheels with low profile radials.

Dear Bill
My '67 convertible is built to what I vision a LeBaron convertible would be like. As a teenager growing up in the 50's, the top line cars were usually built to be the fanciest and fastest. I made the changses because car owners in the 20's and 30.s had cars built to their specifications.
I have had my car for 31 years and it is a work in progress. Some of the changes made is to replace the jump seat with a correct '67 console. floor shift and tach; installed a complete sequential setup from a '69 Imperial, work the steering column to remove the shift lever bump; install a driver information center with warning lights for such items as trunk open, driving lights, etc.,install l & R spotlights and a rear defogger in the top storage compartmentr. Last year the engine was rebuilt and a new 440 six pack carb setup installed along with a trunk emblem and a change of the front fender emblems from the crown to the LeBaron eagle usuall found on the sail panel.
Thanks for swhowing interest in this car.Write back if you want any more details.
