I really do enjoy this club. I read atleast 10 chain letters from the IML everyday. I wasn't aware that this model was the most beautiful Imperial ever made but it sure looks like it to me. It feels like I have stepped back in time everytime I look at it (Almost getting lightheaded) I am also very fortunate to have found such a talented restorer of classic cars. He knows motors, transmissions, electrical and just about anything about cars there is to know. But it will be up to me to find a few knick knack items like the plastic cones that go inside the chrome of the tail lights. These are not damaged but do show severe fading and crackling which wouldn't quite look right with rechromed everything and a mirror finish paint job. Two very critical aspects of this car are original stereo and factory A/C along with an undamaged dashboard. Finding a replacement on a dashboard woulda probably been very difficult and expensive. I have open ears to what anyone has to say about the Imperials. That's why I read just about everyones letters on just about any topic.
Best Regards,

Self-Introduction: Hello all you Imperial fans! I just want everyone to know that I am in the process of fully restoring this 1960 Imperial Sedan. This car is awesome. It has factory A/C working electric windows, factory stereo. This baby was ordered with everything back in 1960. I may need help with anyone who can point me in the right direction as far as the exact burnt orange color (Or red if that was the factory issue) along with replacing the plastic inserts in the tail lights and accent plastic components that are not damaged but have faded over time. My restorer has been restoring classic cars for over 30 years and this guy is good! I'll be rechroming everything and when completed this car will be in showroom new condition. This car really turns heads when people see this car. One of the first questions everyone who sees it for the first time is, "Is it for sale??"
