Re: IML: Using an iPod in an old car

Ahh yes, nothing like having stealthy audio goodies in your Imperial. I installed a small amplifier under the seat of my 62. To it, I connect my Nokia 3300 phone which has capability of 128 Mb of MP3 files (sort of like an i-pod) as well as an FM tuner. Best part of it is that I can drive and answer the phone without ever taking my hands off the wheel.

Keep on Imperialing

Get the optional FM transmitter from Apple for the iPod. It broadcasts a
short-distance signal to an FM station of your choice (it defaults to 87.9
but can be reset at your computer) and works great!
