Hello Everyone,
I am also interested in WIDE WHITE WALLS and what products other members have purchased.
I need some new tyres on my '58, and I'm going to go with the old style bias-ply.
Has anyone had any luck finding 9.50 x 14" or 11.00 x 14" ???
I was hoping to keep the costs low if possible, maybe around $100 each ????
Here's a company I found that makes new disc brake components for our old Imperials.
I sent them an e-mail asking them if they had any kits for my '58, here's what they replied:
Mike,
We are just starting to build one for 57-62. We already have one for 63-66 .We will let you know as soon as we get it done. You can give us a call at 503-890-1469 if you have any other questions.
Thanks for your interest in our kits,
Roger

Their website has some nice looking pieces and also they sell a dual master cylinder, which I want to update on my car.
If anyone else is interested, their business is right here in Portland Oregon and I'd be happy to go check it out in person, you can tell a lot by seeing these businesses in person, regarding quality, machinery, people, etc.
I took my '58 out for it's first drive last Saturday.............
I will post the details in my next e-mail..............
ATTENTION NYB's of the '70s !!!
For those of you with NYB's......... I just finished putting new TRANNY cooler HOSES on mine, and I found that it makes the job SO MUCH easier if you take off the passenger side (right side) waterfall grille, it takes about 2 minutes, there are (2) 3/8" nuts on each side of the grille piece and ONE right at the top in the middle..........voila............saves MUCHO hassle
This technique also makes access to the famous HEADLIGHT DOOR MOTOR a cinch.
Tim, how's the '60 coming along ???
Rick, did you receive the wiring diagrams ???
Bruce, are you going to show any of your cars this year ???......... I want to make that trip to Ohio !!!
Leslie, when is that Oregon meet again ??????
CHEERS Everyone, Happy Motoring,
