Zack. The rear defroster is just a blower as you mentioned. I believe it
is just connected to the rear defroster switch on the dash just like the
later electric grid is. I don't think the rear defroster has anything to do
with the ATC.

adding one to a 74 Imperial that didn't come with one. If I did it, I
would use all original parts. I'm not sure if it's worth doing or not,
but I would like to, so if anyone has any suggestions or just wants to
slap me and say it's too much hassle, anything works for me! Thanks!
