Yeah, I was pretty much figuring on an AutoTemp II odyssey with this car ... doesn't matter too much in Hawaii, where it usually never gets too hot or cold, but A/C is always nice to have. If I need to get one of those refabricated control units it sounds from the list like it's fairly pricey but attainable.
Robert Soule brought my '68 back to life last year ... I take it you guys have been on a few escapades together, despite his disdain for the fuselage style. I've read through all of your stuff online -- looks like you have a great stable of cars, and some fun stories. Wish I lived closer so I could stop in and see your collection.
I wasnt looking to buy another car but a one-owner rust-free '71 from California doesnt come along every day and I hated to see it get wasted on someone who didnt appreciate it. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
