Hey Steve, How's the Front End of the '59?

Hey Steve:

A few weeks ago you wrote that you were getting ready to dive into the front-end rebuld on your '59. Facing a similar job in the near future on my '58, I (and hopefully other IMLers) have been wondering how its going. Any luck?

I have the car jacked up, wheels and brake backing plates off and the sway bar out. Unfortunately I broke a couple of toes two and a half weeks ago and haven’t been able to walk much since. My hope was to have it ready for July 10 but it looks like I will miss that goal. Kind of funny that I took it for a run before I tore the front end down and the high pressure power steering hose blew out. I guess she knew I was getting ready to work in the area and figured I would like to have some fresh oil all over everything.

Patrick I also haven’t been able to get out and look for that piece of trim I promised you. Hopefully this weekend.
