Thank you for posting this warning. Generally, dealing with members of the club or others whose reputation you can check out, or at the very least, staying way from "classic" car dealers unless you have someone you trust to look at the car is a good rule. Some of us, when we sell something, bend over backwards to make sure that every single defect is shown and reported, and we are very committed to keeping our reputation spotless. Those are the folks to deal with - the others are suspect unless proven otherwise. I hope this is not taken as self serving - I have nothing for sale now and do not plan to sell any cars for the foreseeable future!
