'90 Imperial questions

TIM, I CAN OFFER SOME POSSIBLE ANSWERS TO SOME OF YOUR QUESTIONS:
1, THE ALARM IS TURNED OFF BY THE KEY CYLINDER,
WHICH HAS A VERY THIN SWITCH ATTACHED TO THE BACK OF IT.
ON MY 90 , THE SWITCH BECAME DETACHED FROM THE
CYLINDER AND SLIPPED OFF, THUS CAUSING THE ALARM
NOT TO BE TURNED OFF WHEN THE DOOR WAS UNLOCKED.
I PRCHASED A NEW SWITCH TO INSTALL AND GOT BACK IN BUSINESS. THERE IS A SMALL RETAINING CLIP ON THE SWITCH, WHICH MAY BE DISTORTED, THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO STRAIGHTEN OUT AND PUT THE SWITCH BACK ON.

2, THE WINDOW PROBLEM MAY BE THE WIRING, BUT IT MAY ALSO BE THE MOTOR. REMOVAL OFF THE DOOR PANEL AND
GETTING RIGHT TO THE MOTOR CONNECTOR WITH A TEST
LIGHT WOULD BE THE BEST WAY TO SEE IF YOU HAVE POWER AND GROUND TO IT. IF YOU DO, THE MOTOR
WILL NEED REPLACED OR REPAIRED.
MY RIGHT SIDE MOTOR QUIT AND I REMOVED IT AND TOOK OFF THE END PLATE AND CLEANED THE BRUSHES AND
IT HAS WORKED EVER SINCE. BEEN 3 OR 4 YEARS AGO.
THE MOTOR IS NOT EASY TO TAKE OUT BUT IT CAN BE
DONE WITH OUT TAKING OUT THE ENTIRE REGULATOR
WITH A SMALL WRENCH AND PATIENCE.
ALSO BE VERY CAREFULL REMOVING THE DOOR PANEL,
AS THEY ARE EASILY DAMAGED IF YOU DON'T FIND ALL
THE HIDDEN SCREWS AND CLIPS.
MY CHRYSLER SERVICE MANUAL WAS VERY HELPFULL
FOR THIS AND OTHER THINGS I'VE DONE INCLUDING THE ALARM.
FRANK
