Silicone brake fluid

How do I determine the type of fluid that is in my 1982 Imperial?  And what
would be the process of converting?

After driving the car for a while, the brakes still just don't feel right to
me.  I was thinking of pulling the rear wheels to see what I can see.

I have step on the pedal real hard and the wheels did not lock, I don't know
if this is normal or not?

Can any body help me with this?

Hi Chris,
I use silicone brake fluid in all of my collector cars for several reasons.
It isn't corrosive to paint, doesn't absorb water and is alot easier to work
with than conventional brake fluid. I've never had any problems with it.
