I agree with Kerry.... its a great idea to give your husband the money and the picture so he knows that you support his car desire. My partner bought me a piano once. It wasn't the best instrument, however the surprise was exceptional and I loved him for thinking of me and fulfilling a dream.
Also take a look at traderonline.com. You can search for a 65 and see if there is anything available.
