So do I. I have a 64, and it does resemble a Lincoln. If you are going to repeat a design make it one a clean and elegant as the 61 Lincoln. I think Mr. Engel did design cars that were "safer" in style than the final Exner cars. The corporation was after sales, and it got them. The ads always touted the Imperial's road manners, and that is probably why many of us are Mopar fanciers. They are more of a driver's automobile; and I like to drive them! Brand X owners like their cars, but many of them are impressed when they drive the Imperial.
