Milestone Car Society - a millstone now?

Further on the subject of the Milestone Car Society: I have had a response
from my secret source, who was at one time a high muckity-muck in the
organization (and I use that last word with caution). He reports that as
far as he knows at the moment, it is inactive, and perhaps will remain so.
There is a splinter group with the same name and mission which still
occasionally has some activities in the Los Angeles area, but the nationwide
group has faded into oblivion, or nearly so.

Dick Benjamin (who was honored to have his 1947 Packard 8 Passenger Sedan
featured in one of the early MCS publications)
