Yes it will work and will not be a big job to retro fit a  Genie remote
control unit to fit in the cavity in the sun visor. Also I will have to
remove the switch that is on the circuit board of the remote control unit.,
and install two jumpers to replace the switch.  That way the visor switch
will activate the remote control unit and it will work off the car battery

I used a visor from the junk yard and it works.  If some one wants the
