Exner Years

B&T,

Virgil Exner was the man responsible for the styling of the Imperials that Mark
refered to in his note which is '57 -'63. Technically "Ex" was gone before the
'62 models were finished. I believe that his successor, Elwood Engle touched
the '62, highly influenced the '63, and did the "Totally New" Incomparable
Imperials. We couldn't really refer to them as the "Engle Years", though
because he is also responsible for the '67 &'68 styles.
