Happy new year all...regarding that '63 Imperial boxed promotional...I've been a promotional gatherer for a number of years and yes that price is a little stiff for the item...but Imperials are ,BAR NONE, the scarcest promotional model cars to find, especially the 1961-1966 years. Corvettes sometimes bring 4 figures (especially the '66-67's) but are easier to find. Personally I've amassed a nice collection of Imperial promotionals (among others) but do not have the one mentioned in this thread...I wish I'd known it were available. Now granted, this is a mint, boxed piece and lesser examples bring exponentially less prices...but for the piece shown... high,a little...but really not out of line...I do know a gentleman here in Ohio who has a mint boxed '62 convertible...he still won't sell at $1500. And he's been holding on to it for some years now.
Anyone out there got a mint unbuilt 1958 Imperial Convertible kit?
