I'm trying to polish up a set of aluminum slots for my Imp as a temporary set of wheels until I find the correct hubcaps, and I'm probably doing it the bass-ackwards way by using elbow grease and fine steel wool. They polish up okay, but at the rate it's going, it will take a couple of weeks to do the set. Does anyone have any "quicker" ideas? The wheels aren't pitted or anything, but that white film is a real SOB, and I would like a nice shiny finish------MY IMPERIAL DESERVES IT!! Please help.
