automatic parking brake for 71

Hi everyone.
  I never posted on here before so go easy on me.
I have a 1970 LeBaron that will release its parking brake in drive but not
in reverse. It hisses in reverse. I could imagine that there is little, if
any, difference beyween the 70 and 71. So naturally, I consulted my manual
(a godsend) and found that it gives instructions on how to adjust the
automatic parking brake. My theory with your parking brake is that it is so
far out of adjustment that it has ceased working altogether. The adjustment
is simple. I have not had the time to do mine yet but if you are interested,
let me know.
