Radio Wiring Diagram

These can be a bit tricky. They put out more current then a normal radio does. I had one put in the 90 5th Ave. I had. The dealer tried to rip me off by putting just the head unit in & told me I had a complete system. I paid $600.00 for it. I soon found out that you need the correct wiring when the car was built to get this option. I had to file a claim with Consumer Protection to get them to fix this.
I went to a stereo shop & at the Chrysler dealers expense, had an amp & quality speakers installed. They discovered the voltage issue after connecting the amp & blew one channel in the Infinity radio.

Hi Brad,
Do you know what year of car the Infinity radio came out of? Or even close
to the year. I can print out the schematics and fax it to you if you'd like.
I'm pretty sure you're right about the external amps for the speakers. It
would probably work with regular ones but you wouldn't have alot of volume.
