It doesn't have anything to do with changes at the OIC site. The problem is
that very recently certain large ISP's have been allowing a tremendous
amount of spam to originate from their systems, and are apparently unable or
unwilling to do much about it. As a result, their entire network gets
blocked by our automated system once a certain spam threshold is reached. I
monitor everything from this end and release specific IP's when I see
members from the affected networks trying to post, but as long as those
networks continue outputing large amounts of spam the automated blocks will
continue.
Right now Comcast and ATT are the major offenders, hopefully they will get
things under control soon.
