'66 Imperial hubcap needed

Title: Message
Bill,
I'll check this weekend on the condition of my wheelcovers.
Let you know by e-mail how they look. I know they should be painted for show.

Rich,

I am ready to purchase a hubcap now.  I am unemployed, so money is scarce.  That is why I have had to wait to get one.  Can you tell me in a little more detail about the condition of your hubcaps please?  I am not looking for a perfect one, but I do want one that is presentable, and that the teeth are pretty strait.  I was going to buy one from another person on the list, but the digital pictures he sent me show they are pretty beat up, and the paint was all peeled off from the center.  Your price of $25.00 is very reasonable, and I will gladly pay for the shipping for a nice hubcap.

Thanks for your time, and help.

Bill,
I have a '66 Crown, and restored all of my wheel covers. Each one took about 4 hours to disassemble, paint, and reassemble. After all of my were complete, and looking great one flew off after hitting a pot hole which destroyed the wheel cover by coming in contact with a large tree. I know what it's like losing one after all the work I put into them for restoring. I was lucky and able to get another one, and when I find them for a '66 at auto flea markets I pick them up before they disappear. You're right about the valve stem, because when I bought my one of them was for a '67-'69 Imperial, and the stem was in a different location.
I have other wheel covers for '66 Imperials, but their not perfect. They could be restored. Let me know if you're interested in purchasing one, and I'll sell them to you for what I paid for them which was $25. each plus shipping.

Well folks, now that my '66 is back in daily service things are bound to come up.  Today's adventure was a runaway hubcap in rush hour traffic at 55 mph.  I did recover it, but it had been killed by another car.  Completely mangled.  Hence I am putting out the call for a replacement.  The style ran for a few years, but the '66 is a one year only design due to the valve stem being placed in a different location.  If anyone has an extra lying around, please let me know.  Any leads would  be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
