Questions about removing chrome on 57 Imperial

Title:
how to get the chrome off the front fenders and the Imperial signature off the fenders
If you talk about the die-cast moldings which run from "T" over headlight and curve around the fender ther's 5 or 6 bolts you can reach from the wheel opening. To remove those at front of molding you'll have to remove the fender splash (metal) shields in front of the wheels which are bolted to inner fender/radiator yoke. Itsn't very easy to remove the front bolt because it is very far in the headlight "pocket". Need light, extension sockets etc..
The "Imperial" scripts have 4 or 5 studs with small snaps at rear (or only pressed into inserts i don't remember well). You must put your arm between fender and inner fender, ther's a rubber (2 " wide) which closes the gap between them and then find the rear of studs. If i remember well the "crown" are only pressed fit in the fender in small inserts.
About trunk ther's an adjustement on the 2 torsion bars: 3 elongated holes. problem is to remove the bar from the hole and put in another (lower i think). With the weight of the trunk it's very difficult  . You must support the trunk when you adjust it. And beware, the torsion bar can easily jerk and cause injuries !
About windows, remove door panels , lower the glass then remove the two plastic "rollers"  and glass stops (at top). Then slide the glass assy. from top of door.
