Those hydraulic brakes sound as if they are original. Chrysler used Lockheed hydraulic brakes from the first Chrysler in 1924 until 1962. The hydraulic brakes were a Chrysler "first" on a mass production car. No car with a "Chrysler" nameplate ever had mechanical service brakes.
